PELT provides a non-destructive measurement solution for multi-layer film thicknesses all within a single measurement. 


PELT gauges are essentially acoustic microscopes. Very high frequency ultra-short pulses of ultrasound are used to resolve and measure layer coating thickness.
 

PELT gauges are the highest resolving power ultrasonic thickness gauge on the market. This is achieved via a combination of unique high frequency transducer technology and high frequency ultrasonics.

Paint Thickness Gauge for Multi-layer Detection with Outstanding Technical Performance

PELT gauges use advanced ultrasonic technology to achieve highest resolution and capability to resolve very thin layers as well as adjacent layers with similar material composition.

Resolution: 0.5 to 0.33 micron (0.02 to 0.013 mils)

Film Thickness Measurements on Shipping Containers
