Color measurement made easy - even for difficult sample material
Being “OFF-COLOR” can be costly, raw materials must be reprocessed and sold at a lower price or even need to be discarded.
Plastic pellets are transparent to translucent, non-uniform in size and inhomogeneous in color. The big challenge is how to measure and control the color of the plastic material in its first production step. Standardized sample preparation, defined measurement procedure and application specific measurement tools are essential to achieve reliable and repeatable measurement results.
The new color2view offers highest technical performance combined with ease of sample handling. An automated sample rotator was designed to control lot-to-lot color variation of plastic pellets and granules - even tightest color specifications can be fulfilled.

Can we trust our eyes?
Are the colors we see always the same? Is YELLOW always YELLOW or GREEN always GREEN or BLUE always BLUE...?
Outside our eyes exist only light rays. Colors are created in the brain by translating the light rays into color. The greatest achievement of our brain is the combination of the two end colors of the spectrum, red and blue, to a new color "PURPLE". Purple exists like all colors only in our brain!
